Updates & Reminders –
- FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL '25-'26: Classes resume for the 2025-2026 school year on Monday, August 25. More information to come!
- '25-'26 School Supply Kits: School supply kits for the 2025-2026 school year are available for purchase! Click here for a list of kits by grade. Orders are due by July 1 and will be delivered to your home at least two weeks before the first day of school. 
- '24-'25 Yearbook: Yearbooks are still available to order by clicking here! Orders will be direct shipped to your residence.
- Take What You Need Night: Click here for more information on Heelan's Uniform and Youth Sports Drive, taking place on Wednesday, August 13 from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Heelan High School Commons.
- 3rd-6th Grade Heelan Football Registration: Click here for registration information!    
- Friday Comfy Days: We surpassed our goal for the Color Run fundraiser! Students may dress in comfy clothes for the remaining Fridays of the school year! 
- Mexican Night: This event, hosted by the Madrinas, has been postponed to the fall. The date will be shared as soon as it is confirmed.  
- 2025-2026 Registration: Registration for ALL new families is OPEN! Click here to start the enrollment process as a new family!

- ATTENDANCE POLICY: Effective Monday, October 28, the following three tenets have been added to our handbooks concerning the attendance policy:
1) Any student absent more than 10% of days/hours in a grading period is considered chronically absent and will receive notification from the school.
2) Any student absent more than 15% of days/hours in a grading period will be required to meet, along with parents, with school administration.
3) Any student absent more than 20% of days/hours in a grading period will be considered truant and will be required to attend, along with parents, a Student Engagement Meeting with school administration and the county attorney.

- 2025-2026 BHCS School Calendar 
- Breakfast & Lunch Menus: Sacred Heart menus can be found here.
- Uniform and Dress Code Policy: Click here. Students may wear a Heelan or Sacred Heart t-shirt with uniform bottoms on Fridays. Khaki or navy shorts may be worn from the beginning of the academic year until October 31, and from April 1 until the closing of the school year. NEW FOR '24-'25: No mules/clogs/slippers. Students can not have open toes or open backs to their shoes. Smartwatches must be turned off and put in backpacks during the school day. This is the same policy as the cell phone policy. Please remember that light blue is no longer an option for polo shirts. Students may wear white, navy blue, or grey polos. 
- Grades 3-5 Report Cards: 3rd-5th students will be transitioning to a standards-based report card this year.
